UBS Prices and Earnings

How long do you have to work in New York, Kuala Lumpur or Sydney to be able to afford a Big Mac? Where can you shop for a new wardrobe cheaply? Where do employees work the most hours per week? The UBS Prices & Earnings app can provide these answers in an innovative way.

Pricing comparisons are important in todays globalized world, and of special interest to tourists and business travellers. Drawing on an unparalleled survey of participants in 71 different cities around the world, the app provides extensive comparative data on prices (122 separate goods and services, with apartment rents) and wage-related information for 15 different professions. This data is used to get a general overview of relative purchasing power and standards of living in each of the 71 cities included in the study.

The app is able to search through extensive quantitative data through a range of intuitive and user-friendly interaction steps in these three areas:

Global
